Prediction time?

Had a look at other clubs fans forums and they all place us in the relegation zone. Can understand why with such a squad turnover and an obvious budget reduction.
The question is where do we see us come the end of the coming season.
Several common themes which I would agree with.
Title contenders
Maidstone with their FA Cup funds and some shrewd signings. Dorking and Boreham Wood with their National League squads largely intact with a couple of good signings. Torquay with new owners have done some clever recruitment with Seymour and Dreyer from us. They have the league history and the fan base. I would be surprised if promotion is achieved outside these four clubs.
If this is so then some teams could be involved in heavy spending to remain in this league!
Of the promoted teams Hornchurch look favourites to achieve the best position.
Clubs like Farnborough have recruited well, St Albans with Jeffers will be around the playoffs an Eastbourne now full time have recruited players with our league experience.
We plus Truro, Salisbury, Chippingham, Weymouth, Enfield are favoured for the drop, if games against these might be vital come April.
There will always be surprises , who would have expected Havant to be relegated!
The first few games for all in this league might set the pattern for the season.
Let’s hope for a pleasant season and Level 2 in 25/26!
Any thoughts anyone?

If Dorking didn't have a clown as a manager I think they would've won it.So I think Boreham Wood will win it and Maidstone will win the play offs.Relegated I think Enfield,Truro,Weymouth and Weston Super Mare. Finally I think we will finish 9th again.

Well I don't think we will be troubling the promotion discussion too long , the bigger question is whether the new and relatively inexperienced squad can avoid being dragged into the relegation battle. Much will depend on keeping key players fit and finding some goals at the top end of the pitch. For the first time in a few years I haven't been able to see enough pre season to make a judgment of the the players stepping up from over divisions. It may take some time to acclimatise and find the best formations. As a rookie manager Alan Julian will be tested and hopefully he can show some tactical nouse to make changes if things don't initially go to plan. Last season I felt we were a back foot team who rarely had more than 50% possession in any game. We also didn't look as fit as some of the teams we came up against, not just the full time squads. I suspect that we may be similar this year so may rely on the quick break to create chances. I am looking forward to how Babajide and Brisset will match up against stronger defences and hopefully the more experienced Roberts will show the quality we know he has. Wall needs to keep fit and contribute some goals early on. I still think we could do with another CB as I am cautious about Cheadle getting back to full fitness. Revan can certainly cover and Archy Taylor has looked an adequate replacement at RB so maybe that's the plan to start with. I really like Sorondo in midfield and young Keeya looks like a player who could progress if he is given the right protection. Above all, we need to get off to a "reasonable" start to steady the nerves. A few early defeats could be very unsettling for management and fans. Expectations are lower than last season and a comfortable mid table finish would be probably most fans best hope with maybe some cup success along the way.

4/1 Dorking .Maidstone 13/2,Boreham wood 13/2.Torquay 14/1. Hampton 25/1.Slough 33/1.Weston50/1. Truro 100/1 To win the league. My tip is Dorking to win the league by a mile.

Boreham Wood to win the league, followed by Torquay and Dorking for me. Enfield, Truro, Hemel and Chippenham could all struggle. As for us, with many predicting us to be relegated it feels like there is little pressure on us, so i’m quietly confident we can prove a lot of people wrong. I don’t think it’ll be easy and it may be a tough watch at times, but Pre-Season has been mostly positive, and Jules is a great motivator, so i am hopeful for us!

Clown of a manager? Wow. That's a very strange observation.
A manager and owner, who started in parks football, getting the club all the way to the top tier of non league football (remember recently HRBFC had a 10-15 year plan to get to the Premier League!)
Marc White may be outspoken and not everyone's cup of tea, but I cannot see how anyone can not see his achievements as absolutely remarkable.
He also speaks honestly, he doesn't like artificial pitches, and says how many long term injuries they had because of it, but is honest to say they had to have one for income to be able to raise funds.
Yes he's flash with designer clothing, plays up to the crowd and in the dressing room, but he deserves much more credit than he gets, his achievements are up there with any of the great non league managers. So many dream or say what they will achieve and get nowhere near it. What he has done with that club is truly mind blowing.

Really? OK, I'll bite...Jamie, the man is beyond parody, a walking midlife crisis in action who surrounds himself with very good coaches/advisors because he doesn't really have a clue. Yes he's put a lot of his own money in, and fair play for that, but have you actually seen any of the laughable "team talks" he seems intent on filming and putting on their internet/social media channels? The players look completely disconnected and must be thinking about their wage packets because not one thing he ever says contributes anything meaningful to tactics. I'd be embarrassed as a player to be filmed whilst on the end of his one of his cringe inducing, mockney, "desperate to be one of the lads," rants.
And as for the comments about Hampton being in the Premier League in 10 years time, well come on, everybody knew that was a ludicrous thing to suggest, and was the point when many of us thought "Oh dear."
Marc White says that stuff and actually means it. It's a stupid thing to say.

"who surrounds himself with very good coaches/advisors"
Sounds like a brilliant owner/manager, isn't that what managing is all about.
Players shouldn't be judged on the pay packets, but performances and achievements. Getting from Sunday leagues to the top of non league..... that wouldn't be players just picking up the money, that's more like the Billericay/Glenn Tamplin model and others.
I agree his team talks etc can be cringeworthy, telling players they can have his expensive jacket if they score etc.
But his achievements are absolutely amazing, doesn't mean I'd necessarily want to hang around with him for a long time, but different people have different personalities, he's very successful, surely anyone can admire him for what he has done. You don't have to personally like him.
At least his video content doesn't bang on about some fictional football club on TV that has nothing to do with the club

I see that Torquay have cut their player budget from £1M to £500K this year but that is probably still more than twice our likely budget.

Hampton had a top 3/4 budget in the division last season, and finished 9th.
Budgets help but don't make final positions.
Look at Havant last season, big budget, massively underachieved getting relegated/
Look at Hampton under Dev. Doubtful had a budget like others at the time, and constantly knocking on the door to step 1.

I have no idea on HRB"s final position in the league.
I predict the cohesion of our club's community will improve, whatever happens.

We have a difficult start but hopefully we don’t have too many poor results that undermine the players and supporters confidence. The key games might be against the other teams that are also likely to struggle, if we can win these then perhaps a lower than mid table end might be a possible end result.
