Started like a house on fire, got it down and quick incisive passing crested three good chances. Thereafter it was a battle and they edged it. We were poor in the second half, the midfield had no control with many hopeful punts and in truth we never looked like scoring, They nicked it and probably just deserved it. We’ve stolen a few games this season. Impressed with Raven at fullback and the Sutton loanee looks strong and quick and the ball seems to stick..

A tight game but I felt we needed to score first to have a chance of winning. We had a couple cleared off the line in the first half but by the second Chelmsford began to dominate midfield and we created very little going forward. I think only three shots in the second period. Chelmsford scored with a near post header after about 60 mins and Debois was the busier of the two keepers. We might have had a penalty when Seymour was bundled over but the ref gave it on the edge of the box when it looked to me clearly inside. In the end we didn’t do enough to deserve any points today. Fadahunsi looked sharp when he came on for the last 15 minutes. In contrast Bloomfield looked to be playing out of position and consequently had very little impact. Not sure of the reasoning behind the tactic playing him wide left. Defence. was pretty good with Revan and Fernandez excellent but midfield struggled after a good start. Chelmsford were good in the press and we didn’t find the way to play through them enough.

It was always going to be a tight game and so it proved. One goal was likely to settle it and it went to the visitors who looked a very compact well drilled outfit
We had some chances, the foul on Seymour look in the box but the referee thought otherwise. A penalty there and things may have been different. We now have.lost two league games in a row, we need to get back to winning ways this week to maintain a playoff spot.

Steve Matheson was told 950 goes to show the figures are being artificially inflated probably to appease the owners 🙄

Surely people understand that if the club were artificially inflating the numbers they would just end up paying additional tax on revenue which doesn't exist? It's such a bizarre allegation.

So you know for sure he’s telling the truth? Easy to say he was lying too, just like you are.
