I did try and Google Cray Valley FC to find information on this other team (out of curiosity, as I had never heard of them!) but I could only find info on Cray Valley Paper Mills in the results. Are you sure there is another team, MK?

TW2 the other team is Cray Wanderers who play their home matches at Hayes Lane sharing with Bromley football club. It was my mistake in the first place and apologise to everybody about this...

Yeah it's not quite like the time I heard of a player travelling to the incorrect Ashford Town.

Ah yes, I recall the time we were playing at Edgware Town and Tom Maloney got off at Edgware Road Underground Station and asked where the ground was.

Haven't both teams now changed their name because of the confusion? Ashford Town (Middx) and Ashford United.

The railway station is Ashford (Surrey). Confusing!

Indeed. This error on the part of Southwestern Railway is subject to various ongoing complaints and procedures and will hopefully be corrected in the medium term. The Middlesex Federation are not happy about it!

Our opponents have just drawn with Charlton in the FA Cup. Expect a very tricky game. Hopefully they might be distracted!

Their replay is the midweek before we play them, so could work out very well in our favour if they are distracted!

Could be a difficult game to call. In theory we should win but with their record in cup competitions this season it might be tricky.
Will see what team Mel puts out, might see some fringe players?

Having been well beaten 6-1 in the replay I wonder how easily CVPM will be able to get themselves up for the Trophy game. A few very tired legs as well I should imagine. I hope no repeat of the Lewes debacle and remember they are two steps below us. You can’t wack Maidstone 5-2 and then fail to turn up for this game.

Our opponents (CVPMs) made two glaring mistakes in their match preview for tomorrow!
i) we still have a Borough in our team name!
ii) Ben Seymour scored FOUR goals last Saturday in our 5-2 win over Maidstone United!
