Open Day; September 3rd
Posted: Fri Aug 25, 2023 7:35 am
This went on the club site last night....
On Sunday 3 September, The Bev will be open to season ticket holders, Hampton & Richmond youth teams and the local community
The club will be open to fans from 11AM to 1PM, allowing the community to meet the manager and his squad, and get involved in our groundbreaking Movember fundraising campaign!
For the first time, fans will take part in the official squad photo, as we launch our partnership with Movember.
The club shop will be open for fans to purchase this seasons Red, White or Blue replica shirt!
Food and beverages will be also be available throughout the day via village grill and the club bars. The club will be recruiting for volunteers for the upcoming season, with a wide range of roles and hours available, from matchday shifts to midweek hours. Come along to find out more!
Space for non season ticket holders and youth teams are limited to 100 tickets. Fans can look to arrive on the day, but are encouraged to secure their space by clicking HERE

I'm sure I remember we had Open Days in the past, didn't ask for people to sign up for tickets though.
However, I see that there is an appeal for volunteers (!) with a wide range of roles on match day or during the week. Would that include any of the volunteers who were replaced or felt themselves undervalued, or an annoyance and were replaced by the club paying members of the Academy to carry out those roles, particularly on a matchday? Has someone in charge of the club had 'an epiphany moment on the road to Damascus' and woken up to the fact that, at this level, volunteers are the bedrock of a non-league club and are neccessary to make a club sustainable.
