Seymour and Broomfield up front Cheadle in for Donaldson.
Difficult game, need to keep Brazley quiet.

Cumbersome performance between two very average sides so far. Barzey missed a terrific chance so they should really be two up.

Barzey sent off for an awful challenge.

Ft 1-1. Sounds as if Dartford should have closed it out before we equalised. Await reports of those there.

We equalised against the run of play, but in the end, probably should have nicked it at the death. Another very decent point on the road.

I know it's only VERY early in the season, but am a tad concerned that our only goals scored have been from set pieces.

This is a fair point. We really don't look like scoring many any other way.
In the end it was a good point gained as we were behind, but for much of this game we were reduced to hitting speculative balls up to a frustrated looking Seymour, who I think could be a handful if used properly. Bloomfield and Seymour don't really look to be working up much chemistry up front yet. It struck me how well Adrian Clifton from last season would have done in last night's game. Dartford looked increasingly in control as the game went on and it was only really when Pitblado was introduced, which seemed to change our shape a bit, that we looked a bit better. Donaldson coming on also gave us a bit more direction.
Barzey was his usual self...a fair few flashes of potentially exciting endeavor but no real end product and in all honesty he was rightly sent off for a nasty looking foul. He produced a good save from Desbois in the first half but should probably have scored.
