Havant away Saturday. They are 3rd in the table only lost 5 league games. Tough one this. But they are all going to be tough now. Its only 57 miles down the A3. Club car leaves Broad lane at 11am. Good tip dont use the M3 road works Saturday night.

A very difficult fixture, our hosts have been busy in the transfer market as they try to freshen up their squad. There will be three ex Hampton players in their match day squad.
As for us, a wafer thin squad unless there are additions is in sharp contrast. It might be too soon for recruitment and perhaps Mel might want to see first hand what he has inherited.
If results go against us we could be in the relegation zone on Saturday.

Paul Doswell has never been connected to Hampton and Richmond. I guess the article's author mixed him up with Alan Dowson

Surely we need reinforcements, and quickly. I think given that Mel has been with us for almost a couple of weeks now I'd be a bit disappointed if we didn't see some new faces on Saturday.

It says Doswell is a good friend of McCann's.

Managers at our level all know each other. They talk about players arrange transfers and loans.

I guess we are looking at recruits from leagues above, mainly loans. I too would be concerned if we can’t land someone before Saturday.

Would agree but Mel might feel he needs to see how the existing squad perform in a competitive game . Alternatively it might be he is having trouble in getting in the players .

Interesting comment about Miller Rodney being lured from us , beginning to suspect there might have been some influence from another party!

New player Daniel Rowe from Hanwell. Looks to be a forward. 3 goals from 19 games this season in the league for them. So not that inspiring a signing. Hope he proves that wrong!
