Third, why was the Mel Gwinnett piece on Twitter a speech rather than an interview? His pre- and post-match interviews on the Barnet site seemed chatty and relaxed. That didn't seem to be the case here.
I think all those questions are really pertinent tbh (this website needs a like button!), but I can probably give some clarity to the third. The video which was released this week was purely an introductory one, and we're absolutely still intending to do more substantive pre- and post-match interviews with the new manager.

I have to say, as someone who is still doing their volunteering role at present, it's absolutely heartbreaking to see so many people walk away. There are some amazing, amazing people at this club, but sadly there are a lot fewer of them now than there were a month ago and that's just a real shame.

I imagine some will be happy to discuss their reasons for doing so, but probably with a pint in hand.
....or even a glass of red wine!
How about we meet in the middle, Les - a pint of red wine?

Back again hopefully this time the game will be played. Think many of us were encouraged by the game last Saturday and hope for a continued improvement. It is a game we must avoid defeat and one where a win could be possible. Not sure of the team selection, might be the same except if Mel has got in some new faces or wants to freshen up the side by bringing in some players who have recovered from long term injuries.

Losing 1-0 after 9 mins. Not a good start.

Things get worse as Inman goes off injured, with no other defenders on the bench.

Mel had selected the same team plus the substitutes as on Saturday as he said he had no other players. With injuries, the choice is getting more difficult. Think we must dip into the loan market at the very least.

The squad is so thin we can’t afford any injuries.
