Oxford City 1-1

In the end two points dropped after Deadfield missed a penalty when we were 1-0 up. Within two further minutes, Julian spilled a shot to give Parker a simple tap in, and then Oxford #5 was sent off for a second yellow and we had 20 minutes to find a winner. Despite pressing heavily the best we could manage was a header off the inside of the post and cleared. We never gave up but the lack of a goal scorer was never more evident.

Thought it was a pretty drab first half but livened up a fair bit in the second. We had a real go twenty mins or so from the end but never really carved out anything that clear cut. I think we'd have all taken a point beforehand given the current situation though surely?

Penalties!!!! If we had scored today and against Worthing we’d have 6 points in the bag !

Sounds like a missed opportunity, but still grateful for the point!

What's the problem Hampton players have with penalties. We used to think if penalties as a certain goal but modern players seem to bottle it when taking them!

Kurren Brown carried a real threat in the second half, best I've seen him. Whole team played well.

Better game today . Think all players have a sinking feeling if we get a penalty, lost count of how many times we have missed this season.
Kurran Browne played well man of the match for me .
Priority for new manager is at least one striker, if not we will struggle to pull out of the relegation zone.

Didn't Tommy Block bang them in at the start of the season?!
