Cheshunt winning 1-0, thankfully it is against Concord who are the team below us but if we lose this game and Cheshunt stay winning we will be level on points with the Concord who occupy the final relegation spot, GD is what is saving us right now. Not good.

Forget the rest. Support the best. We have just missed a pen. 0.0 half time.

a very poor game of football, a late concord equaliser means we are now only outside the relegation zone on goal difference…

Concord and Cheshunt drew today so we are now outside of the relegation zone on goal difference. We had pretty much one shot in the whole second half and that was on the 70th minute mark with Gray, that is unacceptable. Really don’t see 4 worse teams than us. I wouldn’t be confident playing Hungerford next week let alone Hemel away next weekend. Also on the topic of Hemel they sacked their manager and brought in Brad Quinton who beat us in the play offs final with Braintree who had a tiny budget that year. Teams above us who are picking up more points than us are making changes, he would of been a brilliant replacement for Gary.

A point probably gets Gary another roll of the dice but performance wise it was pretty dire stuff, particularly in the second half. We can’t keep the ball for more than one pass, managed only one shot and missed yet another penalty. Just about clung on for the point. Still missing key players but when they return I do wonder if much will change.

Gary says we had the better chances, not sure what game he was watching
