You both misunderstand the clause in the Articles because of the wording of the Section Heading . This refers to shareholders not having an automatic right to inspect the accounting records. Year end final accounts filed at Companies House are avaiiable for inspection by anyone.

Nothing to see here. Companies of our size only need to file abridged accounts, usually just a balance sheet and a few notes and for reasons of commercial confidentiality.
