We welcome the most likely team to go up as champions this season. A club with a reported 26 full time professional playing staff. Unbeaten in the league and fresh from a FA Cup win against a team in a higher league.
In our present form, a daunting project , but as they say ‘it’s a funny old game’.
Can’t see us getting a point but hopefully it will not be a repeat of last week. Depends on who is fit , Dulwich was a better result considering where we were earlier in the game.
Ebbsfleet home on Tuesday
We gave it a really good go this evening and matched Ebbsfleet for much of the game. Again finishing was the difference although Ebbsfleet missed a late penalty. Ilic was our best attacking player but all round good performances. Makes a difference when we play a more energetic high press.

We definitely showed a lot of effort in tonight's game, and I can't really fault anyone's commitment. Ebbsfleet are the best side in the league so there's no disgrace in losing to them. But we are drifting into a long hard relegation scrap and to get out of those you need to score a few goals here and there. We don't really look like doing so, despite all the endeavour we show and the half chances we create. Barzey either now seems too unfit to depend on or doesn't show enough end product when he does play, and I doubt we can afford a recognised goalscorer so it's a bit hard to see where we go from here.

After recent performances this was so much better and several players had their best games. Agree with Tony Ilic had his best game to date. Ebbsfleet are probably the best team in our division and play a style which will stand them better in a higher league.
However we now need to takes this performance as a bench mark for the future. True we need a couple of better players, but we might not afford them at present.

Think Gary was very balanced in his post match interview. Didn’t try to use the good performance to outweigh 4 back to back defeats. It is the 1st time this season we’ve really pressed from the front, and I’m excited to hopefully see that continue
