Dulwich vs HRBFC 5th Nov
Sickening result in a game where, after the sending off, we should have won. Unfortunately it is evident that neither Wood or Tami are natural goalscorers. They both give 100% and are a handful but I think we have seen enough to know either are clinical finishers. Obviously goalscorers at all levels are hard to find and since Jamal Lowe and Nicke Kabamba we have had one in Danilo..hopefully Gary is looking and is able to unearth something or the frustration in front of goal we have seen in many games this season will continue.

Would agree with Tw10, don’t think it is the first game this season we have conceded a late goal to deprive us of the points.
Agree about the strikers, we desperately need someone to finish, but as pointed out earlier, they are not easy to find and are expansive. Until Gary solves this problem, then we might have to accept these frustrations.

Last season at Tonbridge Wood did nothing before Christmas then scored something like 13 goals in 15 games, he does have it within him but I think he lacks confidence and probably overthinks everything. Think Temi is playing one level too high.TW10 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 1:30 pm Sickening result in a game where, after the sending off, we should have won. I think it's a middle class hipster thing, Champion Hill has become the place to be, just by spending money there you are on trend with non-league and helping the various causes the club associate themselves with. I bet they're all telling their work colleagues about how exciting it all was, how they heard someone swear and how 10% of their money has gone to help save endangered pandas somewhere.Lord Elpus wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 11:57 am Another thing about Dulwich...it's been said many times, but what a weird experience it is watching games there. A big crowd yes, but where many of them pay to get in and spend the entire time chatting with others doing the same, often standing in small huddles with their backs to the action
The areas surrounding Hampton don't have a dissimilar demographic to East Dulwich, why can't we get 2,000 people to just come and drink beer and chat?!

I get that, and I have a lot of sympathy with the views a lot of them have, but I just don't get why you'd spend 12 quid to go to a game and ignore it. Yes, I bet Dulwich make a fortune on the catering for example (at £5 for a smallish portion of chips of course they do!) but it's not the football experience I grew up with. Give me a greasy cheeseburger or a saveloy hot dog at reasonable prices anytime. If you can't stomach that, then eat elsewhere before you go.
I'd rather have our crowd as it is thanks, with rabid support, not a load of people for whom the game just gets in the way.

I got a lift to the game with LouisFell and thought I'd buy him a cheeseburger and chips to say thanks. Ordered one for him, one for me, and when I got rang up for £26 I almost **** out a kidney. Unbelievable money for a burger and chips at nonleague football!Lord Elpus wrote: Mon Nov 07, 2022 1:04 pm I get that, and I have a lot of sympathy with the views a lot of them have, but I just don't get why you'd spend 12 quid to go to a game and ignore it.
