Torquay’s club car was a mini van. Rubbish.

Great first half performance, disappointing in the second until late on. Torquay are strong but really offered little, that was a great opportunity for the club to make a load of money. The players have 100% and were the better team. I agree Gray was easily the best player on the pitch, though their keeper was impressive.

We could have parked The Club Car behind the wall.

Anyone seen Gary's post match interviews? They are a tough watch. I hope someone can tell him that we all felt proud and there can be no doubting the huge effort the players and staff made. Sometimes you don't get the breaks, we were the better side last night and unless Torquay are completely delusional they know that too. I also hope Matteo the young keeper has been told how fantastic he's been in getting us to even be in the 4th Qualifying round. He looked distraught at the end but he's clearly going on to very good things. Well done young man.

Totally agree. I suspect it was the size of the prize that made the defeat that much harder to take. Had we been drawn away toBracknell it might have had less impact.

I agree with the comments of above. We gave it a bloody good go and deserved better. Played well and it was a pulsating evening. Yes - why did we not employ a 'draught excluder' for the free-kick? I mentioned it at the time. Interesting that Gary says he watched it back and it was a Torquay player that touched the ball forward last, so young Matteo may not have been in the wrong picking it up? Either way, a real shame.
All in all, over both games, it was like we'd reached the 1st round (without actually reaching it.) A big away game at a pro' ground followed by a rockin' replay at the Bev. it could have been worse, we might have drawn Chelmsford (for example) away instead of Torquay!
Onto Saturday...3pts a must.

Totally agree with this. His saves against Bognor, the unbelievable tip onto the crossbar at Plainmoor at 0-0. Matteo has been sensational for us, and one error (by the referee NOT by Matteo!) doesn't undo that.

I thought we were the better side across two matches. Gutted doesn't even begin to cover the feeling, but if we can keep some of that crowd, and bring those performances into the league, then there are real positives to come out of the last week.

Album from last night. Have focused mainly on pictures of the fantastic crowd.

Just watched the highlights and quite clear it was not a pass back leading to the freekick. Our wall did look a bit all over the shop.
