I can neither confirm, nor deny this happened.

And at no point did the young Hampton fans conga round the terrace with the leader wearing Bertie's head.....

There was indeed a bit of a rivalry with Walton for a few years. However I wouldn't say it ran that deep...for the bulk of the time they were much higher up the league system than we were and we simply didn't encounter each other all that often. If by some miracle we do stay up (and assuming they get promoted) I can see it possibly becoming a bit of a thing again and we won't have to rely on these "tudor derby" manufactured type things that are mentioned from time to time, however well intentioned.
