It has been noted previously that this league is getting harder and perhaps an illustration of this is now a thirteen points gap between the top clubs in the playoffs positions ( plus Weston) and the next pack of clubs headed by Farnborough. Survival in this league for clubs like us still part time is only get more difficult.

Except of course we had well over a £1M of new investment and what did we do with it?

Regretfully much was wasted on expenditure that did nothing to improve the team.

In fairness to Mel, he did live some way away and the owners had ideas that the club was going full time etc.

Yes I forgot that, now which premier club did he manage?
Seriously he had experience as a number two in a league club .

I think that is where most of the money went.
Some ridiculous money was spent on wages last season.
