This is probably a must win game. Given their recent win at Bath they will be looking to get points again. From reports they took the lead and then ended up with a packed defence containing several central defenders so be warned if they try this tactic today.
From his remarks yesterday Jules has more players available and so this will give him more options both in selection and off the bench.

As always, a great issue.TW2-Beaver wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 10:34 am Programme on sale today £3. Features include:

Well that was good won 4.0. James Roberts 3 goals. Start The Club Car Mr Barbel lets get out of here. What a joy to watch Hampton are.

Another excellent performance but this time with goals. We dominated possession throughout and got an early penalty but then found it hard to break down a well organised defence. Babajide missed a one on one then Enfield were unlucky hitting both posts with a freekick. Second half opened up a bit and we took good advantage with further goals from Gray and Roberts. Could have been a couple more. Enfield rarely threatened and don’t remember Curd having to make a save.

No doubt that Enfield didn't have that much to offer but we played some lovely flowing football today and 5 or 6 wouldn't have flattered us. You still have to put these teams to the sword and we did so with ease. Great stuff to watch, now bring on Torquay...

A game that turned out to be an impressive win, we are happy to play the ball around in defence to see if we can find an opening further forward. If Enfield were going to keep things tight and hopefully snatch a goal and pack their defence this tactic was lost with conceding a early penalty dispatched by Roberts,. Babajide missed a glorious chance to double the score when clean through and our visitors were denied by both post from an excellent free kick.
The second half saw us in control and Curd spent most of his time fielding back passes . Unless we made a silly error it look like the visitors would not score, Finally Gray scored after ex Hampton keeper Forster spilled a chance. Roberts added a third and right at the end got his hat trick.
Very satisfied but hope Atkinson who limped off will be available soon.

Great result for me this afternoon. However looking through all the available websites I know of I can't find an up to date league table, as of ten matches played to date. So I have no idea what position we are in the league on 13 points...???!
