So Mauro Vilhete played 3 games for Hampton & Richmond Borough FC while on loan from Wingate & Finchley FC. Then seemed to then be given a free transfer by Wingate & Finchley to Dagenham & Redbridge FC. From there he went to Hayes & Yeading FC. Some sort of Guiness world record attempt perhaps ?

Finished 2-3 and really hard on the team to come away with no points despite a good performance. Some naive defending though was our downfall, particularly what proved to be their winner from an unmarked header from a corner. Once again we created a lot of good chances with their keeper forced into a number of good saves. Worthing took their chances well but the use of the long throw at every opportunity is not a great watch. Babalola was useless as predicted. Even a late sending off for Worthing didn’t give us the momentum needed for a deserved equaliser.

Thought the Ref turning down a clear penalty for us in the 2nd half was a bit of a turning point but we were a bit unlucky this afternoon.
Deserved more, kind of.
Thought we played well, offensively. We looked good when Jake got some passing combos going. We don't have lighting fast wingers, or marauding full backs, so I reckon we need to lean into this more. Still impressed by Josh, though he needs to impose himself on games more, demand the ball more.
Defensively - eek! Here's my take. We either sit back, or we try and jump on them one at a time, and get passed around. Can't sit back all the time or it becomes a shooting gallery. So if we're going to try and pick off the ball carrier, got to learn to isolate him as a team.
I feel better now I've got that off my chest.
But I do like this team. They play well.
