Been liking to happen for some time, Roberts coming was the final piece in the jigsaw.

Maybe it's one of the motivational schemes that was brought in for our players - Bring in a fee for us on your way out or else we won't say goodbye and thanks...

Wow. That's just about the whole of last year's team gone.

That's serious stuff.

I get it, the money has been pulled. And we have to readjust from owners saying that we are aiming to make it to the football league, now to avoiding relegation.

Because with an entirely new team made up of mostly players from lower levels, and somebody new to management, it's going to be a herculean task to stay in this division. I'm hoping that Alan Julian turns out to be a tactical genius, and that that will make up for the player deficit.

I keep hearing that we need "warriors" but even last year we weren't mostly out-fought but instead out-thought.

I'll be there, cheering them on, but I don't think we can under-estimate the effort we'll need to stay in this division.

Yes Sparky that does about sums things up.
On the hopeful side we might sign some players with experience at our level, to date only Roberts has held down a regular starting place in our league and his team were surprisingly relegated.

I noticed that Alan and his coaching team are at the club on Sunday with fans. Wonder if there might be a signing to deflect some questions?

No further news of the squad changes over the weekend. Perhaps holidays have been a factor. Just wonder about the numbers Ben said 14/15 and only 12. Has there been a change of mind?

Recent interview with Alan, just background on the recent signings. Nothing mentioned about further incoming players.

Would think that between now and the start of the season we will need another 6 players as a minimum in order to fill the bench for 7 subs. Ideally 8 more would be best. Who they are and their experience might determine what sort of season we have?

New signing Odei Martin Sorondo, midfielder from Worthing. But another with a serious injury history. Otherwise looks a decent player.

A little more information.

As Tony mentioned about his injury record. It might be that we are not in a position to have first pick due to our budget restrictions.
Wish him well, now all we need is ?!

He was released at the end of last season.
