Looking forward to the game. It should be a bumper crowd. Excellent marketing from the club.

When are the food banks going to be re-instated?

Assuming the game goes ahead it should be an interesting match. Tonbridge are in a good run of form winning 3 and drawing 1 of their last 6 games.Hopefully we may have some players fit to return especially Seymour and Bloomfield.
No mention of a pitch inspection at present.

Present strong winds might help to dry the pitch out with no serious further rain forecast.

If this game was to be postponed, we would have to fit the rearrangement in on a Thursday, as all our Tuesdays are used up, possibly also meaning a run of four home games in a row with our already rearranged games.

The strong winds may lead to the game being postponed. It may become unsafe if the winds continue?

Tonbridge (whose pitch is 3G) have postponed their women's game tonight due to high winds, so it is certainly a possibility.

Tonbridge have lost a defender ahead of tomorrow, Kodi Lyon’s Foster has departed for Worthing.

Can't see this being on, as it has rained for most of today, and the last two days.

Surprised that there hasn't been a pitch inspection announced.

Would you like to volunteer to run one? Food banks are much more of a commitment than most people realise. It isn't just a case of setting up a stall on matchdays, you then have to find somewhere to store all of the stuff you've been given, arrange for collection or delivery etc. It's a complete pain and with limited volunteer resources it can detract from stuff which actually benefits the club.

Personally I am glad we don't do them anymore. They make the club look like a messy car boot sale on matchdays, it's very poor optics as fans enter the ground (something which the owners have hugely improved); and I also think the primary purpose of them is to help the middle classes feel warm and fuzzy inside as they donate some beans and save the world. There are plenty of other outlets providing this feel-good service locally. It has very limited benefit in the real world.

I read Farnborough have a 9am pitch inspection, would not surprise me if other games will require one as well.
