Truro down in 19th in the league. But they have lots of home games in hand. We need a win. The Club car thinks a 1.0 win for Hampton with a early og. Over to Shep for a expert view.

Their away form is good and according to Mel they are a good team with several ex Exeter players he knows well. For us a win is vital , points to remain in the playoffs and to boost confidence in the team before the Macclesfield game.
Might see some changes, as according to Mel, some players will return to fitness.

Looking at their away form, they have accumulated as many points as us on away games having played three less games.

An important three points today. The game totally changed after half time when we conceded a quick equaliser and had Donaldson red carded all within five minutes. We were totally on top first half taking the lead with a well worked goal from Fadahunsi after 13 mins but that proved to be our only shot of the half. Truro managed one effort off target but otherwise looked very much second best. We really needed a second goal to give us a cushion and so it proved when Truro got in behind Wishart and after some hesitancy in our defence Bray stabbed home for 1-1. Things got immediately worse when Donaldson got a straight red for kicking out after a tackle. Didn’t see it myself but the ref seemed pretty certain. It looked a tough ask to play with 10 men for the next 40 minutes and Debois kept us in it with a fine save from a corner. Gradually we got ourselves a bit more on the front foot and scored a fine goal from a Pitblado header after good work from Revan on the bye line after 80 mins. We saw out the game without too many nervy moments. Perfect symmetry to Tuesday night at Welling.

Great win, some good performances especially Deadfield and i thought Dreyervjad an excellent 2nd half..It was never a red card. Their player was pretty much lying on the ball and Donaldson gave a tap at it, terrible decision. The same truro player was destroyed by Pitlado at the back post for he winner so some justice there.. didn’t feel like 1100 in there today if i’m honest.

After a first half which saw a well worked goal from Fadahunse. The second half opened with us conceding what looked a soft goal, the within a few minutes Donaldson was sent off , which looked a slightly harsh decision.
With most of half to go we found ourselves under pressure and the possibility of a fourth straight league defeat very possible. Slowly we weathered the storm and despite the numerical disadvantages we started to put pressure on the visitors. Pitblado had come on and from a Revan cross scored the winner.
Agree with another contributor that Deadfield had a very good game . Onto another very tough game with in form St Albans the visitors on Tuesday.
