Bad news for the competitive pyramid of football. Money always wants to form monopolies to stop competition to the detriment of all.

"This is devastating news for the future of football.
The European Super League is not in the wider interests of football and undermines the very ethos of the pyramid.
We call on all clubs and politicians to condemn it immediately."

Taunton now appear to be in financial trouble with players leaving and posting on X. Apparently 7 players left in last 10 days leaving a squad of just 14.
