From article on club website about Mel's backroom staff, ends with:

"Finally, Franky Hamilton-Black joins as out kit and equipment lead. In this role Franky will be responsible for the close management of all 1st team and academy kit. His arrival at the back end of last season comes with the news that long-standing Kit Man Malcolm Taylor is retiring from his role. The club would like to take this time to thank Malcolm for his years of dedicated service, and he will be sorely missed around the club."

So Malcolm leaves, must be over 40 years service to the club, absolutely outstanding. Thank you Malcolm!

But what a poor acknowledgement by the club. A simple sentence at the end of a general post.

Cull complete, no one left from pre brothers takeover I can see (oh apart from the Chairman of the Supporters Trust, who used his power proxy voting en masse to get through his agenda, and get himself a director role of the main club).

Has Malcolm ever had a testimonial or anything? If anyone deserves one it would be him.

Perhaps it would be nice to name something at the ground after Malcom, in veneration of a lifetime of service?
