Weird.
Physical cards is an extra way to have branding, sponsorship etc.
Can then do promotions like show card for discounts elsewhere.
work with local shops and takeaways who do promotions if you show the card.
Added value to then sell more season tickets.

We may not need our season tickets before 5th September, but I've still not received the "plastic card".

Likewise. Nice to know how we can pick them up but realise we do have some time before required.

Where did you hear that you can pick up your plastic card season tickets at the ground SS?

I see the matchday prices have been announced...looks like £19 for Adults on the gate unless you buy online for £17. No mention of any online discounts for concessions/students/ under16s etc...
Any comments??

Does seem a bit steep. I know the cost of most things have gone up over the last year or so. Will be interesting to see how the attendances stack up.

£17 / £19 is high for the league - Yeovil & Torquay aside really.

However the £5 student and £3 under 16 are good value. But if you are a Uni Student then paying the £5 Student day rate than the £140 / £160 concession season ticket is better value which may need reviewing.

Thought I’d have a look to see how our ticket prices stack up. Only looked at the adult category. Where clubs had different tickets for different stands I chose the cheapest one.

For on the day tickets/ Gate ticket we are 2nd only to Torquay. For advanced tickets we are one of 3 clubs on £17 behind Torquay.

10 clubs charging £15 would suggest that is a more realistic price for the level.

NLS adult prices, cheapest adult ticket chosen
Worthing £16
Aveley £15
Weston-super-mare £14
Chelmsford Adv £15 Gate £17.50
Weymouth £16
Yeovil £14
Bath Adv £15 Gate £16
Maidstone £17
Taunton £14
Torquay Adv £18 Gate £20
Chippenham £15
St Albans Adv £16.50
Hemel £15
Tonbridge £16
Dover £17
Farnborough £15
Braintree £15
Eastbourne Adv £15 Gate £18
Truro £11
Dartford £16
Slough Adv £13 Gate £15
Havant £15
Welling £15

Interesting analysis Adam. Got to say new pricing looks very expensive for this level. £15 feels about right for an adult ticket. There is now also a discrepancy with the student season ticket which is more expensive than buying individual matches. St Albans got a lot of criticism for their increases a couple of seasons ago but have increased their average attendances quite a bit so will be interesting to see how our attendances fare this season. Much will depend on how we are doing in the league.
