Of course, if Oxford City win the play-off and get promoted then that means another Club will have to be shunted into the National league North instead!! Bishop's Stortford, Braintree Town, maybe even one of St Albans or Hemel (what with their proximity to the M1.)

Further to the above, the 'fairly well-informed' Team at 'Football Matters' have already plumped to place Bishop's Stortford in the North - of course, they were shunted that way before for a couple of seasons. But to go from the Isthmian Premier straight to the NLN, seems a little unfair imho.

So, whatever happens, it's likely that Oxford City will NOT be in our League next season. Win they get promoted, Lose they get shunted north!

Surprised to hear that their are teams playing who don't really want to be promoted. If that is the case why are they bothering to play at all. Pity the poor teams who lost out to them during the season who did want to get promoted.
