THOSE WERE THE DAYS

Hampton’s biggest crowd of the season turned up for the visit of Woking. The Cards were looking to complete a league double over relegation threatened Hampton, but they didn’t have it all their own way. On the stroke of half time the Beavers took the lead – Inman flicked on a Johnson corner to Huggins who scored with a looping header. Woking came out strongly in the second half and levelled the score in the 72nd minute when Paris Cowen-Hall converted from a yard out. Woking played the last 10 minutes a man down after Jack King was sent off, however, they almost snatched a win in added time.
