Eastbourne (H)
At last a win and a decent performance to boot. Goals from Whittingham, Inman and Kurran-Browne. A late penalty for Eastbourne made the last few minutes a bit nervy but we held on. Fisher played 55 mins without much impact but Kurran-Browne who replaced him had one of his best games yet. Seems a lot more confident and took his goal well. Apart from the first 25 mins Eastbourne didn’t threaten too much but looked a decent passing side. We closed down well in the second period and deserved the win. Now need to follow up on Saturday against Dulwich who lost 6-0 at Worthing.
Only five messages on here after an improved performance and great win, yet our drubbing at Ebbsfleet produced 30 messages and the Slough defeat 36 messages. And nothing from LE or SS. I do hope they've not defected to Rectory Meadow.

Or maybe the fact Liverpool vs Real Madrid was on the Tele and we hadn’t won a game in about 11 or so.
They were both in attendance last night as i saw them. LE i believe was having issues logging into the forum too.
Perhaps people are getting over the shock of a home win !!! Thought it was a good team performance especially Dean and Tommy but everyone had a good game. They had a lot of the ball across midfield but not a lot of danger in final third. Not sure about going 5 across the back for last 10 minutes allowing them to much possession.
Heard Saturday 25th is Tracey last day at the Bev
Hopefully the club will be doing something to show there gratitude for her great service for many years .
