Lost 0-2. A bit unlucky, two Hemel goals on the break, but we didn’t crest that much in reality.

Whoever our new manager is he faces a hard task to turn us around. Hemel were bottom of the form list before today. The table makes very unhappy reading.
We badly need strikers, because of this, teams only need one defensive error by us which does happen and three points are theirs. To perhaps rub salt in the wound. Amartey scored twice on his debut!

These players get off very lightly at this club when they put in constant below par performances by previous management who would constantly keep playing them and even re signing them also us as fans are very forgiving, rarely seen vocal frustration at the ground when these performances consistently happen meaning the players feel they can get away with it. We need a no nonsense manager who will put these players in their place and demand high standards like Dev did and also Dowse, this will be no easy fix more harm has been done in the last 18 months than people may realise. The table is looking quite scary if Concord were to get any sort of point in their game in hand. Hopefully the new owners don’t rush this new appointment as it may be one of the most important decision they make as owners for a little while.
Nice to hear from someone who REALLY knows how to run a team, I don’t think!

So you’re a constant in the dressing room or attending training, which I doubt. You give the impression you know what’s going on, except I don’t think you do.

Opinions are fine and you’re welcome to post them all you like but stop making people think that you know. The brothers know they don’t know which is why they’ve called in an experienced person to advise them, a manager who’s been at a higher level.

Agreed. Amartey was the most likely looking player we had, while he was on loan to us, who would score.

I am in constant contact with ex academy players and ex players who have been in this dressing room and past dressing rooms, please don’t tell me what I know and don’t know thank you very much.

We actually played pretty well and were well on top for the first 20 mins of the second half. But as has been the case so often this season, we failed to convert good positions into goals and then gave away a soft goal failing to deal with a long ball. That took the wind out of our sails and a second breakaway goal sealed the deal for Hemel. Donaldson and Block were warming up before the game so hopefully not too far away from returning. Any new manager needs to find a striker or two or it is going to be a very tough to pull out of this nose dive.

It’s been the story of the season. No cutting edge up front , desperate for players who can put the ball in the net. Very vulnerable to error in defence . As you say we need a couple of strikers who can play and score at this level, not cheap, but if not recruited, relegation could well be on the cards.

Not much to add to what Tony's already said above, but for spells of this game we did seem to have slightly more of a spring in our step than of late, which was good to see, but the simple fact is that we don't have a strong enough team to compete at this level and certain players aren't putting in a shift. Can't put it any better than that.
For those interested in Manager Watch, a certain pair of ex Slough managers were in attendance. Read into that what you will. Didn't recognise anyone else though.

Wonder if that makes them early front runners?
