In my opinion Gary is still a very good fit for Hampton. I vote to keep the faith. Remember we are punching above our weight for historical league positions and current budget. That may change with new owners but not overnight.

BEAVERS!!!
His best squad can’t even lace the shoes of Dowse worst ever squad, his contact lists are shocking it’s essentially just Wimbledon loanees 24/7, he came into the club talking about how he hates using loanees and now our whole 11 is essentially loanees, he said how he loves using wingers and for the majority of the season played with no wingers, he says he wants to play nice football when he joined and we now hoof it to a tall striker who doesn’t know how to head a ball and he also says he doesn’t like to make excuses and proceeds to make excuses every game pre and post match. Speak to someone like Sam Cox and he will tell u it’s the worst dressing room he’s ever been in and he was so happy to leave the “toxic” environment. Gary is not good for the club, Dowse use to be in chinos cafe pre game talking to fans, all the players use to have a drink with the fans post game now they all sit in their little designated area and escape at 6. Dowse use to run on the top pitch to raise money and now the club have the audacity to ask for a minimum amount each month for the 12th man fund, didn’t realise we was in such a position to do so, also what happened to the first team going to see our youth teams train and help out, now only Julian does it once in a blue moon, the club is falling apart in-front of our eyes but because we are a village team we must accept it and be grateful for anything and everything.

Would you like Dowson back Mr BMaster?

Would have him back in a heartbeat, best thing to happen to the club since I can remember, made us an attractive place to come play football.

People keep saying we will be a better team when the players who are out injured or are ill come back but when are they coming back. Each week/ game that goes by that we lose is one less game to avoid relegation. Even some draws would be better that last minute defeats!

Gary has done ok in his time but Dowson by comparison was exceptional.. he has a much better eye for a player and was much more ruthless when someone was not up to scratch.. that said i have no insight into budgets.. interesting the comment re Sam Cox..but again i have no access at all to the dressing room so who knows if it is fair. The Wassmer Deadfield incident was embarrassing, dunno if this reflected a poor dressing room

To change the manager mid season at our level is not easy. To be out of work , willing to come, with the right credentials are few contenders. To take one in work, of the right standard, would be expensive and might be seen by the candidate as a risk. Gary will no doubt point to the huge injury list has had a major influence on results.
Whilst not privy to the budget the seeds of the current problems might stem back to summer recruitment.
We have had problems in defence, Gary said that Fernandes was his marquee signing. Unfortunately he has hardly played due to injuries this season and looking at that players ‘ record he’s not played frequently in the previous seasons. It could be classed as a risk that failed?

An old saying of the obvious, that in the right circumstance might appear profound, is: 'If things don't change they will stay as they are'.

Equally obvious is that a decision of any change or no change at all and how urgently any change happens will be solely at the door of the new owners who will also bear the responsibility of the outcome.

So this will be a test of their experience, their abilities and those of their advisors that supporters can judge in due course as the outcome unfolds..

Something has to change.

Just watched the highlights. Must say our defence was so poor at times. The injuries gave such an unbalanced selection, we don’t have enough forwards. Has Amartey been recalled by Aldershot or another sick /injured player?

Thanks for the information ref Amartey. We seem very short of recognised strikers, perhaps another loan!
