I've just spoke to someone Midlands based who knows him.
"very good player, we would have liked to sign him"
I trust the guys judgement, he knows his stuff, so sounds like could be a bit of a coup.

From the other topic from Rob his comments suggest plural signings so let’s hope one is a striker.

This might be a permanent signing, am I right he stopped playing for us due to work commitments?

Yeah that’s correct, first time round was personal reasons then I believe the second was work commitments. Even if we only have him for a month or so before he may have to leave again due to unforeseen circumstances it will be fantastic, such a good player, runs for days, breaks up play and can dribble. Very excited to see him back.

Agree he was good from what I remember. It will depend on how fit he is now. With two midfield players in today, I wonder if we have some long term injuries in this area?

Yeah, I’d assume that T and Ade are relatively long term considering they haven’t been in any squads recently.

Well a striker on initial month loan. Should please everyone. Signed on a two year contract with Shots in the summer , at the same time as several other strikers and he has never been first choice. Went to Farnborough on loan and came on to get the vital second goal against Sutton. If he can regain his scoring form it might help finish off the final third buildup. From what I know might prefer to play off a target man.
Not sure what Farnborough will think when he lines up against them? Probably tell us he was rubbish!
Details from when he went to Aldershot.

Given the fact that two central defenders have returned to their parent clubs, if we sign another loan, I would not be surprised to see another central defender as we look a little light in that area.
