I see he's moved on to Altrincham. for whom he'd made some appearances in pre-season. Their supporters seem pleased at his signing.

Seems a bit odd. The website news link is dead so not sure the reason for the rapid departure but guess he might have felt he should have been a starter.

Good luck to him, was only on the bench, so wanted more involvement.

It seems like madness to me...surely any extra cash you get from being part time would be swallowed up by having to pay accomodation costs? And all to play just one division higher...but then I really don't get modern football and its mindset.
