Yes the current form (6 league games) show 3 points from a possible 18. 17 goals conceded and 6 scored. Relegation form! If this trend continues we may well find us a strong candidate for this spot.
On the team page from the reissued program last night 8 players out of 21 are no longer, with us a staging change in a month.
In listening to Gary’s comments he said it was a club decision to release Wassmer, not sure if he was implying he was against it as he must have realized the weakness it would cause in the team.

Since then, he's hardly featured. At half-time yesterday, the situation was crying out for Kyron's strength and experience but, instead, Gary chose to bring on an untried newcomer. What's going on?
Exactly what I thought. And it happens with others too, doing nothing for team spirit, which looks sorely lacking atm.

Just wonder if Gary and the players are not as Gary often says ‘on the same page’. If so, then there is a major problem and one wonders if Gary will be able to sort it out and recruit players of the right caliber. Matches come thick and fast another 6 games results like the last 6 and we all know what we are looking at !

Hopefully over confident.

Just watched highlights..defending for first 3 goals is truly shocking. Donaldson allows a free header, then Hamblin is rooted as ball cross comes in to allow free effort then Block much the same for third. Braintree gave us nothing and contested everything in the box. Such weak defending could have led us to being 6 down at HT

Yes the defending was poor due to inexperience and a lack of a dominant defender. Donaldson is not a natural central defender and only Inman would be classed as such. The deficiencies are clear to all, its for Gary to sort out. He needs replacements of the right caliber, otherwise I fear we could be set for a relegation battle.
I wonder if the two players he changed his mind about might have fitted the bill?

Defending for the fourth was equally woeful, looked like we had thrown the towel in. I wonder what changes if any are made for the Dartford game. The lack of an additional specialist CB will certainly be targeted by the opposition. Will give Block the benefit of the doubt given he may have been lacking game time and probably only met the team in the dressing room before kick off. I would prefer to see Farrell back in but after that options are limited I guess Barzey will get a start and maybe Deadfield back in if fit.

For various reasons, we have let many of the experienced players leave and replaced them with young loanees . Until we get some experienced players in we are going to get erratic performances.
