After two more encouraging displays we took two giant leaps backwards with an abject first half display which but for Alan Julian could have been five or six. Couldn’t pass, couldn’t tackle and couldn’t defend any crosses. Midfield non existent. Good players looking very ordinary, a pale shadow of earlier in the season. The Woking loan players were no better and only Barzey when he came on in the second half showed any spark. His goal was our only shot on target. Six defeats in seven games and Dartford away next up. How long will the manager get to turn things around? What’s the plan?

Completely echo what Tony says above. Didn't think we could get worse than the Hungerford away game but we did. Dreadful. It's time for some tough questions to be asked...

Agree with the last two comments, this was a dreadful display against a team at the bottom of the league. When you field a team with 5 loan players four of whom are with us for a month then you can see why the team looked like strangers. If you look at the team photo from the beginning of the season , there are as many left as remain. Experience has been replaced by youth a formula for relegation?

Completely lost our way.. started the season playing entertaining football and a passing game and looked good.. now we want to smash it long turn teams around and win second balls..very stereotypical non league.. that’s what Braintree did but were bigger, stronger and far more hungry.. they are loud and in the refs ear just like the bench.. we were timid mice in comparison..agree we have good players who look ordinary. Maybe because we really arnt trying to play football.. Feel sorry for Robinson up front. Hoof ball against giant centre backs ain’t going to work.. Barzey was great, him and our keeper played well..Julian pulls it off every week. Would be in a much bigger mess without him.

Two players Deadfield and Farrell who were regulars this season were unused substitutes this evening. Difficult to see why except if they might be heading for the exit door!

The situation with Farrell especially is just completely bizarre. He's far too good to be spending too much time on the bench. And what's going on with Muir? He almost never plays now and I can't imagine he's cheap.

I think the only players who should be guaranteed a starting place at Dartford are Julian, Barzey and Uche (if fit). The lack of verbal communication was very noticeable and may stem from the fact that its a squad of players who don't know each other that well. We always seem to put in a poor performance when we've done a big promotion and attracted lots of newbies to the game

A few Woking players in attendance tonight including Max Kretzschmar. The Dartford manager was also there, I bet he's feeling good about Saturday.

Muir is injured, not sure how long he will be out. Uche was also injured/ unwell yesterday. Deadfield has struggled to find previous form after his early season injury and may be still feeling the after effects. Farrell’s loss of form is more mysterious but seems to be a confidence player. The youngster from Woking is no better and seems a bit out of his depth. Donaldson at centre half is a stop gap. We need him back in midfield where he has more influence.

I think Farrell is a proven quality player at this level. Strong, wins headers and has a great left foot. Strange to bring in the young lad from Woking who is clearly struggling with the intensity of the conf South

This season's problems between the manager and Farrell seem to have started after the Dulwich game when Gary, by implication, publicly scapegoated Kyron for some of the goals conceded. Since then, he's hardly featured. At half-time yesterday, the situation was crying out for Kyron's strength and experience but, instead, Gary chose to bring on an untried newcomer. What's going on?

We are bottom of the form league and the bottom 2 teams have improved recently,so the way we are playing we could be in serious relegation trouble soon even though only 1 team goes down this season. We hardly look like scoring and everytime crosses come in the opposition look like scoring all the time.
