I don’t think I have heard Gary so downbeat after Monday. We all realize we need replacements but as has been pointed out elsewhere the right quality are hard to get unless you pay stupid amounts. If he can’t do that and our bad run continues he could lose supporters and even the dressing room?!
Let’s back him to do it.

Cole Brown has left, leaving fewer options.

Concord have won only one in 7 league games and that a win over lowly Billericay. We did lose at their place earlier in the season, 2-1, after a poor first half in which Alan Julian kept the score down with a number of good saves. They looked a decent side but clearly have hit a bad patch the same as us. Obvious to say we need a win - certainly not a defeat- given next up is Dorking who are starting to knock in the goals for fun. Not sure we can expect too much from the new loan signings given the short time to gel with the team. They may just start on the bench but see what happens. Could be a safety first approach from both sides and given our poor goalscoring record of late we really need to score first.

StaInes off. Might try the Met Police which is still on as things stand.

Seems our pitch needs no inspection, see you there.

Surprising team selection.. Muir and Slew can’t be happy, they will be looking elsewhere no doubt. Deadfield on bench, that make Wassmer the guilty party?
