He’s slated the players.. lack of consistency etc, probably a lack of effort too.. l have a lot of faith in the manager.. we are v lucky to have him

I've got a lot of faith in him as well, because when we are in top form we are excellent, and great to watch too. However the fact remains that we went out of both major cups with barely a whimper...a complete surrender at Ebbsfleet (who aren't that great, and we'd beaten them a few weeks before) and the minnows of Plymouth. I think a couple of changes might need to be made squad wise, without completely redesigning it.

I know it wasn't the result we wanted, but for anyone who wants to see the pictures from the day, here is the link:

Ppfc got Dulwich Hamlet at home next round. Dowson got Yeovil away, what a shame.

Aldershot v K's looks a decent tie.
Dorking Wanderers will fancy their chances at Southend.

If it is any consolation, Plymouth Parkway have knocked out Dulwich Hamlet on penalties in the Trophy following a 1-1 draw. Hamlet needed a 90th minute equaliser.

They are having a great run with the good fortune of successive home draws. Interesting to see how they would fare if drawn away.

Knocked out two Step Two and two Step Three teams in their run so far.

I see Plymouth Parkway's reward for knocking out Dull Itch is a nice little trip to Spennymoor Town. That'll teach 'em...

At least Plymouth Parkway were in the draw for the next round of the Trophy unlike Hampton who seem to make a pig's ear of cup competitions of late.
