Yet another tricky game...yes, they are only just above us but these really are the sort of games we should be trying to win. With confidence presumably at a low after last Saturday's disaster it might just be a bit too soon, so let's hope for some returns from injury to liven things up a bit.

I think Alan Massey is due back tomorrow, which will be a massive plus in defence. The seven days from Saturday will see us play against teams currently placed 17th, 15th and 22nd in the table, I think it should be approached from the perspective of a clean slate and a fresh set of fixtures against sides we should be able to compete against.

Hard game to call as we have no real idea what the line up may be, who's fit, who's not, which loan players are available, etc. I'm hoping Fasanmade and Silva are fit enough to start and potentially Massey, although would be surprised if he does start given the long lay off. Whatever the line up, it's a game we need to win or pressure will surely mount on the manager further.

Still no chairman update after being promised alot more regular updates, and it looks like interviews a day or 2 before the game with our manager have ended as well unfortunately.

In the future, given the modern media and content driven age, it ought to be made clear when appointing management that an interview after each game, plus a weekly update on comings and goings plus injuries etc, is a standard requirement. I can't understand the notion that other teams will find out too much about any sides we are likely to be putting out...fans (and opposing managers) of premier league clubs know pretty much everything about opponent squads.

Players talk to each other all the time and not much remains secret. I wonder just how much real advantage we have gained this season by keeping everything close to our chests. We are 19th after all.

Much stronger looking team today and strong bench also. Fingers crossed.

I see we are 1-0 down after 50 min. I can’t make the match today (foot injury) so grateful for updates on the football and on the soup.

After a good first half where we should have scored, the second has been poor so far.

Lost 1-2 I see. We are down among the dead men now. Time to panic Captain Mainwaring.
