Player of the Season

The club is running a vote for Supporters' PoS on X but only gives 11 choices so all you fans of Page, Wall or Babajide are going to be disappointed. The biggest omission is Jack Taylor, who despite playing only half a season was probably our best player when on the pitch. Strangely both Ted Curd and Max Merrick are both included. In my view the main contenders will be Atkinson, Vilhete, Revan and Archy Taylor. Roberts and Gray miss out having been either out with injury or a dip in form plus being financially benched. Curd and Merrick have both been excellent but miss out on the half a season rule. Of my four choices, you can make a strong case for each and I wouldn't quibble too much if you felt differently , but I have gone for Archy Taylor. Archy was playing at Level 4 Westfield last season and probably wasn't meant to be first choice right back but with injuries elsewhere, Dom Revan went to centre back allowing Archy a run in the side. He was one of the few players whose form didn't really dip in the recent poor run and has got on with his game consistently and diligently despite a changing sea of faces playing in front of him. And he has chipped in with three goals, gets forward well and seems very comfortable on the ball which suits Alan Julian's possession based game. He has not looked out of place at this level.

Revan for me, god knows where we would be without him. Should be playing a league higher as a full back. Closely followed by Vilhete

My personal choice would be Atkinson with Taylor a close second.

For those without Twitter, the voting page is here.

The choice is complicated this year because of players that have had extended absences, but I think it's right that it should be down to players who have been playing for pretty much the whole season. Atkinson and Revan have been very consistent and dependable for us, but I will also go for Archy Taylor. He has progressed so well throughout the season and often seems to become a significant attacking threat in the second half of matches, particularly when combining with Roberts. Perhaps winning Fans Player of the Season would help offset that ridiculous red card he got on Saturday!

Atkinson for me. Has pretty much been available all season, and has consistently looked strong in that midfield spot.

Young Archie Taylor for me too. Very consistent for a youngster, always puts in a proper shift and has made an excellent step up.

I think those mentioned are all good shouts but Atkinson shades it for me.

Chose Archy Taylor as he has been most improved player along with Williams. Atkinson has been very consistent and if Gardiner stays next season I think he will be up for it.Agree Jack Taylor was our outstanding player.
Overall most players have improved over the season which bodes well for next season and shows how well the management team have done this year.

Atkinson for me, hugely consistent and noticed when he wasn't in his usual midfield role.

Definitely Mike Atkinson.

Although Dom has been great too. And Archy most improved over the season. Maz too added a much needed goal threat.
