We're really struggling to find any sort of form or performance at the moment. Last night their keeper had 1 save to make. We are still trying to play football but have no one really looking to take the game by the scruff of the neck. You can see the difference when experienced Step 2 players are missing and we are filling gaps.
Whilst, 99%, safe from the bottom 4 this season it does put a lot of pressure on recruitment over 5he summer to ensure this doesn't become the norm.

Jerry Wiltshire playing up front was an interesting experiment
Blimey - this is all a bit reminiscent of the bad slump at the end of last season when an apparently out of favour Dean Inman came on as striker in one of his last appearances for us...
There are some strange team choices going on at the moment, but, as others have said, I guess we are not fully aware of injury and fitness issues. Maybe Jules feels he is able to experiment a bit as we don't have much to lose now.

Post match comments from Jules now up on Twitter where he does at least seem to be fully acknowledging the concerns. Of course, that's the easier bit and actually turning things around is the real challenge.

Think most of us share similar views as to the current position the club finds itself in. Having enjoyed results that exceeded our expectations, the recent form and results look to reflect the early pre season gloom. With such an inexperienced team perhaps this was possible. Julian stated he did want to see the season drift away and we supporters would agree, last season did see a tail off and perhaps with hindsight, we now know there were financial issues. Tony alluded to this in his comments? Hopefully history is not about to repeat itself!
Agree about the comments about next season, as folk would have noted it has been my concern of late. The need to retain certain players and recruit well otherwise next season based on current form would be hard.
The next few games may take on a greater long term significance than we realise.

The inference from the manager's post match comments is that some players have stopped trying now that the season is effectively over. As Alan says we have to be better than that and hopefully players will realise that they need to play for places next season by finishing strongly. Some may see that as a carrot, others not so bothered if they think they can move on elsewhere, such is the nature of non league. It's probably a bit early to know what sort of playing budget may be available next season, but if there is no resolution to the ownership stand-off then it may be hard to maintain even existing levels.

Would agree with Tony about the ownership issue. From what I gather from other contributions. If the brothers cannot or won’t get in further investment then the club will just run out of funds. Their investment or perhaps more accurately the investors money is lost, the club will slide down the pyramid until the situation is resolved. Any new owner will not pay good money for the club shares in their current state so only when the brothers accept a minimal offer will things move on. That’s my understanding, but then, I may not be in touch with all the facts.

Alan Julian has been doing a good job and we are trying to play decent football but surely it is his job to try and motivate the players. Also perhaps this explains why some aren't featuring or have been moved on.

I don't see the brothers getting any new investment. They had their chance and blew it so just aren't credible. They need to move on and they can take #HAMRICH with them.

Definitely. And then, while we are about it, we can change the name back to just Hampton FC.

There has been talk about the team selected and it does seem strange to many of us . Julian said Wiltshire has played up front before but it would surprise me if was at our level. It does seem strange that Wall was on the bench and perhaps it shows how far he has dropped down the pecking order. What has been very apparent to us the need for a central striker, problem is a good one is not cheap!
Interesting team selection for the next game(s).
