No real consolation, but £1,750 from the FA Trophy prize fund for a 5th Round loss.

Agree re the atmosphere
Well £4 for chips is out of my price range Big Rich. I had my flask and Jam sandwich at half time. There was a chap near me eating chips at half time i must say the chips looked very nice. I did count 38 chips as he ate them. So a good portion.Big Rich wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 12:25 pmYes game on, and a new caterer today. £4 for chips. At that price it better be good. HM will be assessing the portion size.
A very astute analysis in my opinion.Lord Elpus wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2024 5:40 pm
I do feel I have to add this though...in a game that should have had the atmosphere of previous big games (playoff finals, title winning games etc) the Bev felt a bit flat today. There are a lot of people there now who seem happy to pay to get in for the right to buy pizza and chat to their mates with their backs to the game. One large group near us was discussing rugby for most of the second half. This isn't really meant to be a criticism as such, times change, people come and go, but it really is starting to feel very different these days. If the intention was to have a "Dulwich" feel at home games, i.e., more like a social club than a hotbed of football, then it's certainly succeeding.
The Menu on X says Chips £4.00.
Only in the fish and chips stall. The Burger stall sells chips for £2.50. If you actually attended games you would know.
It was aimed at HM not you MK
