How come in previous seasons when we haven’t been thinking go 3G, we were able to re-seed and play our first game at home?

It might be that the work started much later than in previous years?

Because they banked on having 3G and didn't maintain the surface.

Pitch renovations then started at least 4 weeks later than they should have.

Not to mention during that time could have hosted things like the Youth section tournament and other events to bring in additional income.
