Not NLS, but Kingstonian will move to their sixth ground in 10 years by leaving Raynes Park and groundsharing at Ashford Town from next season.

That's a completely ridiculous move by them. They might as well give up completely. What is it with that club? They didn't exactly win friends when they shared with us briefly in the eighties when they were waiting to move into Kingsmeadow, but they are an utter shambles to have been through that many grounds. Having said that, I bet they still have a few older fans who genuinely believe they're still a bigger club than us!

Haha! No, more a shrug of disbelief about how a club could let itself get into such a state. I'd still like to see them haul themselves back up though, it'd be great to play them again one day.

To be fair to LE since they left Kingsmeadow they have managed to fall out with anyone they have ground shared at. The supporters are not best pleased with the current chairman and the level of infighting amongst the club, supporters groups and general fans is off the scale at times.

However it would be good to play them in a competitive game again, but I can't see them getting up to Step 3 in any time soon, let alone Step 2.

What did they do to upset us?
They did pay to upgrade Beveree to the required standard at the time.
Do we know if they asked us about grou sharing again?

Dagenham have sacked Lee Bradbury. Andy Carroll is in interim charge.

It's admittedly a very long time ago but from what I vaguely remember they generally swanned around like they owned the place, refused to use the bar, (which must have been where we were hoping to make a few more quid out of them) preferring to use the Jolly Coopers pub, nicked at least one of our best players, and were a bit of an all round pain. As I suspect they may well have been at their other temporary accommodations. It really does take some doing to lose not just your original home (Richmond Road) but also the one that was built for you (Kingsmeadow) and then the various others they've bunked in at.
No idea about any recent talks regarding groundsharing...given our relative proximity you'd have thought we'd have been quite a desirable option for them.

That sucks as PFC London Victoria (who play at step 6 and are current title contenders), are gonna get chucked out. Wonder where they will end up.

Yet another club who probably now realise that selling your ground is the first step to relative oblivion.

The sale of the old Richmond Road site made a lot of sense: ageing old ground costing a fortune to maintain; brand new modern stadium with cash left over to fund the club for many years; long term lease on the new ground.I was their bank manager for a few years and the club was financially sound, didn't need to borrow. The real cause of their downfall was the overspending as they went up into the Conference which resulted in them going into administration. The businessman who bought them out of administration, Rajesh Khosla, wasn't really a football man but saw the opportunity to double his money by selling the lease to AFC Wimbledon. Having done this he allowed the club to run into the ground and the left others to try and rescue it. AFCW gave Ks over £1M to use towards another stadium purchase/development but as we know this has just proved impossible to secure. As for sharing with us, I think we saw the "benefits" of that back when they shared with us before and whilst personalities have long since moved on, it would have to be a financial no brainer to turn heads a second time.
