Roberts has gone to Horsham then...very disappointing.

Down to 7 players from last year that we have no news on.

Communication still really isn't that great is it? The first we hear of one of last season's best players departing is when his new club announces it.

New signing meant to be announced at 1pm, still awaiting news, most likely going to be Luka Ziger

The comms are really a bit disappointing. Clearly some effort goes into teasing the player's junior picture first thing ahead of the reveal at 1pm - but if we can't do that reliably, it rather undermines the whole effort.
Of course, there can be unforeseen circumstances, but if they happen regularly, they are not really unforeseen.
As a practical solution, perhaps we should just be saying the player will be revealed "later" and not specify 1pm if we can't be sure.
Also hope the club can muster up some thanks to James Roberts. I think he worked hard for us and was very important earlier in the season in helping bring the team together.

Luke Ziger it is, for all the waiting, feels underwhelming.

I doubt we’ll get that, the club didn’t even say anything about our captain who’s spent the last six years here.

Ha i see the announcement just come out now and it is indeed Luka Ziger. Very few playing minutes last season, but was very busy in his only start for us I recall...

Good point

Really not sure what the point of signing Ziger is. We wouldn’t play him when the first choice was unavailable and when we did, put him behind a defence with only one recognised defender conceding a record number of goals. Must be better for him to be out playing regularly somewhere.
