Not a former player, but Paul Tisdale, who had some kind of "advisory" role for Da Brudders, (advising them to appoint his close mate Mel Gwynett) was apparently involved at Celtic, who have today just sacked their Manager after just over a month in charge. Tisdale, as Head of Football Operations at Celtic since late 2024, was "let go" as well. Astonishing isn't it. It really is completely beyond me how these people keep getting jobs in football.

But not half as incredible as Petruzzo Junior landing that job as General Manager of Olympique de Marseille Ladies Section on the grounds of his “transformation of Hampton & Richmond FC (sic)”. And, incredibly, they’ve still not sussed him out and he’s making appearances on mainstream French TV as a (self-styled) expert on football management and ladies’ football. LinkedIn’s another world, isn’t it?

It's only a question of time before the chancer gets sussed out. The gift of the gab and an inflated self opinion only go so far.

I just genuinely can't believe or understand how these kind of statements on LinkedIn are seemingly unchallenged or not followed up. Wouldn't it have been funny if someone at Olympique de Marseille had contacted Hampton to.say "this Petruzzo lad then...what do you guys think?" (I am of course making a big assumption here, but I bet they didn't!)

Soul Kader is off on Loan again. This time he's at Horsham until the end of the season.

Had a reasonable game off the bench when we played them away if I remember rightly. If he can get a goal he could start putting a few away.

I noticed Mr Petruzzo, Perhaps inspired by the success (in his eyes) of brand ‘Hamrich’, wasted no time in changing the name of the Marseille women’s team from OM Feminine to ‘Les Marseillaises’, also dropping the traditional OM badge in favour of an awful new one based on a ‘revolutionary emblem’.

The press release is a masterpiece of marketing guff, surely straight from the pen of the man himself

It can't be a big gig for him as they only draw crowds of around 400
