He wants full time football and I imagine that was the only full time offer available. Shame as until the new manager came in, he was regularly starting for aldershot

Seems as if he had a sudden drop-off in form and most Shots fans posting on Shotsweb feel he wasn't NL standard.

I was surprised he got a move to that level after one season at NLS level. He did well but I thought he could have done with another at this level to improve but I guess you have to take the opportunity when it’s on offer.
I would have taken him back though if available, but doubt we could compete with the offer on the table from Eastbourne.

Hopefully Field will be back soon. Massive miss in my opinion.

Still think we will need a new striker in a few weeks time, the reviews from Slough fan on our new striker is not positive

Field came off the bench at Farnborough for the last few minutes.

I see Inih Effiong has recently left Woking who has worked with Dowse before. Not sure if he might be getting on a bit.

Effiong gets just as bad a write up from Woking fans. Was briefly on loan at Chelmsford earlier this season.

Francis Amartey has joined Walton.

James Roberts announced as leaving Horsham this morning, came off the bench for Sholing in a 4-3 loss to Havant & Waterlooville this afternoon (where he's been reunited with Dan Wishart).
