Well a very hard fought three points in often torrential rain, and quite honestly we couldn't have complained if it had only been one or even none. Dover are better than their league position suggests but their star player must surely be their groudsman for keeping the game on. We are third!

Well done Mel, the staff and players.
What an incredible run. What is the club record for consecutive wins?
Surely he is manager of the month for October and he could be on course to retain the award in November.

If you are talking record wins at this level (Conf Sth) then it is 9, during the 2008/09 season. Otherwise it is 14 in the Spartan League days.

Thank you for the information. Very interesting. Lets hope Mel and co smash this record.

Overall it was a good win in difficult conditions against a side who are better than their position says. Their right winger was excellent.
However in the first half George Hunt could have had a hat trick and really should have converted 2 of them. Jake Grey also had a shot cleared off the line so we could have been well ahead before Dover made good use of the slope on the pitch in the 2nd half.
Deans sending off was due to a rush of blood from Adam who came way out of his goal and missed his clearance. However if Dean doesn't pull the player down it is 1-1 not 1-0.
Weather was shocking and reckon I will still be wet when we play Tonbridge on Tuesday.

One game ban for Inman is it?
Misses the game at the 'Massive' Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday?

I might be wrong, but it is more likely to be next Saturday against Maidstone, if so, he will be missed more than in the Tuesday game?

Yes, Dean's foul probably saved us 2 points on Saturday but he has been such a dominant presence at the back that his subsequent absence could cost us a point or two.
