Think most watching the game would agree the score did not reflect the game. Our second half display could have perhaps have seen a goal and consequently a draw. However two late goals did give a very flattering score.
Our visitors were a very competitive team who fought hard for everything. It perhaps shows the difference between a lower mid table team and playoffs contenders. The game again showed up the lack of goal threat, we lack pace and an instinctive striker. To get one would be an expense!
Off again on Tuesday with several players likely to be missing as the treatment room looks full.
Braintree Home Saturday.
Illic was good when he came on and carried our biggest threat. Their manager was screaming to double up on him. He is a real talent and unless he plays I fear he will leave. Shame Ade got injured, he too is a dangerous player. Wood is good when he has a channel to run into or when decent ball is played into his body. Just lumping the ball long straight and high makes him look a poor player. Playing the two big lads together just encourages this play and we look poor. Getting the ball down to allow the likes of Gray and Illic to play allow is when we look miles better. Today we started well and had a good 20 min spell in the second half. That aside, Braintree looked comfortable for their win.

Shane Dunne has not been in squad recently, might need him with all the injuries.
