Think we got a bit spoiled with Seymour last season.

The league table is starting to bear out early season predictions with Torquay , Boreham Wood, Maidstone and Dorking all in the playoffs places.

Looked as though the Slough keeper had been briefed about Mauro’s previous panenkas. He just stood still and caught the ball. Cost us two extra points.
Should not have taken Pen . Roberts takes them.

Doesn't the manager have a plan for the players taking penalties?

Interesting interview with Slough goal scorer John Gilbert who said that he and their keeper knew Vilhete was going to try the Panenka so Horlock didn’t move. If you have a designated penalty taker then you should stick to that. Roberts could have missed but is usually reliable. Also their manager was very complimentary about our team comparing us to Worthing but said he would have been pretty unhappy if their player had tried to chip in the penalty.

I thought their managers’ comments were very fair and complementary. I know both managers are friends but it was nice to hear a balanced view rather than the moans etc we usually get.
Would be surprised if Spencer is as generous next game!

Farnborough lost heavily at Maidstone 4-0 and Spencer Day gave a very downbeat post match interview. Maybe a good time to be playing them.

Farnborough have defensive issues currently, they are conceded too many goals and as Tony pointed out Spencer is very unhappy!

All National League games are filmed and shown online, it's hardly a deep secret like decades ago.
