Sorry but the all blue kit just isn't for me. It's much too dark for starters as well as being too close to the officials in their black but much more importantly we are Hampton and should be playing in at least a significant bit of red on the shirt. Yes, I know we used to play in white and black up to the 80s but the red and blue was a return to the original colours.
The all dark blue one looks like one of the types of shirt that 90s Premier League clubs used to have in the 90s as their seldom used 3rd kit, chosen because it was marketed as looking ok as a replica shirt with jeans.

I wonder which shirts the players prefer. Often said that red is a much easier colour for players to pick out team mates - unless of course you are red/green colour blind!

definitely harder to pick out dark blue shorts to the crowd backdrop and under lights..much preferred the blue and red hoops

I am surprised the all dark blue kit is allowed if the officials are in black. It's not distinct enough, especially if the floodlights go off!!

Techinically in the FA regulations, it is NOT allowed.
But clubs register their colours saying "Blue" instead of "Navy Blue" and league officials never both checking.

Just like the goalposts not being fixed aren't allowed.

If Manchester United can blame their kit for a poor performance Hampton can as well. Did notice last night that I kept thinking Hampton seemed to have an extra player until I realized that it was the referee in her dark kit.
