Current form
P 6 W 1 D 2 L 3 Pts 6

Take that form towards end of season

P 42 W 7 D 14 L 21 Pts 35

Outcome = RELEGATION !

Don't panic Mr ExRef, we haven't played a home game yet, and there is a home dividend to the points gained per game.

Interesting that three of the four NLS teams with new owners, ourselves, Eastbourne and Slough are all in the bottom four relegation spots. Yeovil are the other team. Eastbourne fans already beginning to wonder about their new manager.

But that's not how a season works, it's quite obvious that if you multiple the first 6 games for the season we would be in the same position.
Just like every other club would be in the same position they currently are.

Does anyone think, looking at the players we have in, there has been any noticeable change in the budget to previous years?

Won one and drawn two gets you five points, not six.

I don't imagine we'll play all our games away this season either, so this first six matches probably not totally indicative.

My guess is that it is higher but by how much hard to say. The Farnborough manager claimed he couldn’t match the Bloomfield offer and I guess Hall and Cheadle coming down from NL will be on decent money. Seymour having to travel from Devon can’t be doing it for the love I would imagine. The Eastbourne budget is apparently £10Kpw so they must be wondering about their investment return. If we are anywhere near that then a few questions to be asked.

My thoughts are similar to Tony’s we have invested in players who have to date, not come up to expectations. Hall and Cheadle were not regular at their previous clubs, the latter was on loan at Dulwich who were relegated.
Hunt was released by Slough and had stepped down a level, Seymour’s goals again was at a lower level.
Hopefully things will come right soon, otherwise the pressure on Mel and the board will increase.

Why do Hampton seem to get players who either suffer from frequent injuries or lack of proven form. Seems like teams see us coming and unload their unwanted players on us.
