We saw him play for Dulwich here and is left footed and quite a good dead ball exponent. We needed a left sided defender and he fits the bill.

is he a left back or left centre back? Thought Wishart had LB taken care of with Donaldson as back up? Obviously going to competition for places.

Not sure why we signed him unless it’s for cover at CB and LB. Barely played last season and went out on loan for 8 games to relegated Dulwich Hamlet. DH forum not particularly complimentary about his time there but maybe ring rusty.

Dorking fans and Marc White adore him and I think he could not commit due to the change in structure at Dorking (train mornings now not evenings) so could be one of the hybrid full time members, he was also key in their promotion season the year before last.

Also cheer up Tony :) always downbeat about most of the signings.

Cheadle signing could mean that Fernandez won't be here next season. If he is a replacement then I am more than happy with that, was brilliant in Dorking's promotion season, and whilst he may have struggled at Dulwich, that could say more about them as he was not the only one to struggle there last season.

Would agree about Dulwich last season, there were several players who underperformed badly. As for Fernandez, it might still happen, I am of the option that we needed two more central defenders to allow for rotation, injuries and suspension.
We have all discussed squad size, Mel talked about 20 , if so then still 5 more! Certainly a couple of strikers would be needed, second keeper, as well as extra defender and midfield, it is a long season and to be successful you need a big squad to enable rotation.
More news to come?

It's only 21st May so plenty of time to fill up any vacant places in the squad. It would be a shame if Fernandez doesn't come on board but if he gets an offer from a league above then you couldn't blame him. I agree three specialist CBs would be a good idea so room for one more.
