In beating Egham Town, Hampton retained the trophy. Egham took the lead in the 15th minute, when Styles beat Smith in the air and Edginton breasted the ball past Andrews. Egham held off Hampton’s attacks until the 32nd minute when a Timberlake through pass was seized upon by Rowlands drew keeper Shrimpton and slotted the ball past him.
